1. 사역 비전 Ministry Vision
국내선교개발원은 미국 국내에 소외되거나 복음이 필요한 타민족들 그리고 미국 원주민들을 섬기고 주님의 복음을 전하여 그들 속에도 하나님의 나라가 든든히 세워지게 한다.
Domestic Mission Development Institute serves other ethnic groups and Native American (Indian) brothers and sisters in the United States who are marginalized or need the Gospel, and spread the gospel of the Lord so that the kingdom of God can be established within them.
2. 사역 방향 Ministry Direction
첫째, 캘리포니아에 있는 타민족 교회를 섬긴다. 지역사회에 존재하고 있는 수많은 타민족들을 복음화 하기 위해 기존 타민족교회들을 발굴하고 좋은 관계를 맺으며 연합사역을 펼친다.
First, to serve other ethnic churches in California. In order to evangelize the numerous other ethnic groups existing in the local community, it is imperative that we strive to discover, establish good relationships, and cultivate joint ministries.
둘째, 미국 국내에 있는 520만 원주민들의 복음화를 위해 현지 원주민 교회 및 선교사님들과 함께 협동사역을 이어간다. (2010년 센서스 기준 미 원주민 수)
Second, we will continue the cooperative ministry with local indigenous churches and missionaries to evangelize 5.2 million Native Americans in the United States. (Native American population based on 2010 Census)
3. 사역전략 Ministry Strategy
첫째, 타민족 사역은 간접사역이다. 지역사회에 흩어져 있는 타민족 교회를 뒤에서 후원하고 섬김으로 그 교회들이 든든히 세워져 자기 동족에게 복음을 전하게 하는 것을 목표로 한다.
First, other ethnic ministries are indirect ministries. By supporting and serving other ethnic churches scattered in the local community, the goal is to build up the churches and spread the Gospel to their own people.
둘째, 미국 원주민 사역은 단기선교를 통하여 원주민들과 직접적인 교류를 하고, 선교사님들과는 네트워크를 형성하여 한인교회와 선교지를 이어주는 다리 역할을 하도록 한다. 중장기적으로는, 선교사들을 파송하여 제자훈련을 통해 현지 교회가 자립적으로 일어날수 있도록 중보하며 그리스도의 사랑을 현지화된 삶으로 실천한다.
Second, Native American ministry enables direct exchanges with Native Americans through short-term missions, and builds a network with missionaries to serve as a bridge between Korean American churches and mission fields. As for mid-term and long-term, send missionaries to intercede Native American brothers and sisters so that the local church can rise independently through discipleship training and the love of Christ is practiced in a localized life.
4. 사역 구성 Ministry Composition
1) 타민족 선교사역 Other-Ethnic Mission
다민족의 용광로라고 불리우는 이곳 캘리포니아주에는 많은 민족들이 섞여 살고 있다. 일본, 중국, 히스패닉등 수많은 타민족들을 복음화 하기 위해 기존 교회들을 발굴하고 좋은 관계를 맺으며 함께 예배하며 교제를 나누고 연합사역을 펼친다. 또한 일본어, 중국어, 히스패닉 언어교실을 통해 선교대상의 문화를 체험하고 단기선교를 지원한다.
There are many ethnic groups living here in California, which is called ‘Melting Pot’. In order to evangelize many other ethnic groups such as Japan, China and Hispanic, existing churches must strive to discover, form good relationships, worship together, fellowship and unite in ministry. In addition, through Japanese, Chinese and Hispanic language classes, students experience the culture of the missionary and support short-term missions.

2) 미 원주민 선교사역 Native American Indian Mission
아메리카 원주민들은 우리와 가장 가까이 있으면서도(지리적으로 문화인류학적으로) 가장 척박한 복음의 불모지이다. 선교지와 네트워킹을 형성하여 원주민 교회와 선교사님들을 만나고, 선교지의 필요를 파악하여 한인교회와 선교현지의 다리역할을 한다.
Native Americans are the closest (geographically, culturally and anthropologically) to Korean Americans, yet the barrenest gospel barren. By meeting indigenous churches and missionaries, identify the needs of the mission field, and act as a bridge between the Korean church and the mission field.
선교를 통해 원주민 교회와 선교지의 어린 영혼들을 섬기며 또한 선교를 통해 한인 2세들을 포함한 모든 구성원들이 변화받고 하나님께 영광 돌리는 사역을 추구한다.
We serve the young souls of indigenous churches and mission fields. Through it all, we earnestly pray that all members including young generations of Korean Americans are transformed and pursue a ministry that glorifies God.
